"Some fifty rose sprouts were planted all over the yard in early spring. In order to protect them from the morning frost, they were covered with plastic bottles. Even so, none of the rosebushes survived until summer, some froze, but most of them were trampled down by kids playing in the yard."

"Al comienzo de la primavera se plantaron en el patio unos cincuenta brotes de rosas. Para protegerlas de las heladas de la mañana, se cubrieron con botellas de plástico. Sin embargo, ninguno de los rosales sobrevivió hasta el verano. Algunos se congelaron, pero la mayoría fue pisoteada por los niños que juegan en el patio."
